For Individuals
My purpose as a therapist is to help you identify and overcome whatever obstacles may be interfering with obtaining a positive sense of well-being and reaching your goals. I believe everybody has an innate ability to self-actualize and feel fulfilled; however, obstacles such as depression and anxiety, insecurities, grief and loss, or relationship issues can get in the way of living the life you once had envisioned for yourself. I help my clients achieve the kind of self-mastery that lets them take charge of their lives and leads them to pursue the dreams and desires they have had all along.
For Couples
With a special focus on couples and family counseling, my goal is to help my clients achieve positive change in their lives in the most efficient and effective way possible. I help my clients improve communication and mutual understanding, maximize intimacy and connection, eliminate relationship-defeating interaction cycles and behavior patterns, and rebuild marriages and relationships that encourage lasting positive change. Couples leave my office having a clear idea of what they need to do to improve their relationships and report tremendous growth building upon the work we do in our sessions.
For Parents
As a therapist, it is my goal to equip parents with the necessary tools to foster the very best potential in their children. Parents play a critical role in influencing motivation, academic performance, healthy relationships, and encouraging self-esteem. Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, self-defeating patterns, underachievement, oppositional behavior, low motivation, and inattention are just a few of the issues I help parents navigate. Sessions focus on empowering parents with practical and powerful approaches to strategically help their children succeed by overcoming obstacles and building on their strengths.
